Our Founders

Bug Control has been helping Aged Care Facilities since 1995, when we began providing training and education for Aged Care Facilities. Our founder Judy Forrest started the business with overhead slides and a portable data projector! The business has gone from strength to strength since, providing essential support and assistance to many Aged Care Facilities throughout New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.

A significant opportunity presented itself in the latter part of 2015, which resulted in a re-evaluation of the business. Like many small businesses, Bug Control was in a position where there had been no real effort to grow due to a lack of capital. While some constraints on the business did not change, the importance of trying new ways to do business was recognised. Bug Control is built around both our team and our customers, allowing us to be the best and most cost-effective provider of Infection Prevention and Control services and be prepared for the growth and change expected in Aged Care.
